Mass Alliance is a 501c4 coalition of advocacy organizations and unions working together to build a progressive Massachusetts by developing progressive leaders and electing them to local office. Together, Mass Alliance and its members are building a movement of shared values. This cooperation enhances our ability to hold progressive power.

Mass Alliance supports progressive leaders and their campaigns.

We work with our endorsed candidates to run successful grassroots campaigns and to communicate effectively about their progressive values.

We mobilize and coordinate the electoral programs of member organizations in support of our endorsed candidates by sharing technology and building a progressive voter file that will track all of our outreach efforts and help us identify and activate progressive leaders at all levels.

We train local progressive leaders how to run for elected office, how to manage campaigns, and how to cogovern with progressive organizations.

Mass Alliance endorses candidates for the Massachusetts State House who support the priorities of the coalition members, and we prioritize races where we know we  can make a difference.

Not only does Mass Alliance endorse candidates, but we also cultivate and empower these leaders. We encourage local progressive champions to become candidates, and then support their development and advancement once they are elected.
