Kendrys Vasquez is a Mass Alliance 2021 Rising Star Alumni-in-Good-Standing Candidate for Mayor of Lawrence.
As a City Councilor, Kendrys immediately started fighting for the city’s most vulnerable residents, by working with the Merrimack Valley Project on creating a foreclosure ordinance in the City of Lawrence. The ordinance helped Lawrence residents avoid having to foreclose on their homes. As Mayor, Kendrys has been working to make city government more accessible by establishing the first Massachusetts municipal run call center to help vulnerable residents schedule their appointment for a COVID vaccine which has helped vaccinate over 83% of Lawrence residents over the age of 50. Whatever life has thrown at Kendrys, he has answered with eagerness and determination, he hopes to continue this work when he is elected to a full term as Mayor of Lawrence.
