“If at first, you don’t succeed–run again”. Katherine Clark’s political ambition did not end with her 2004 Senate defeat. Instead, Clark looked to the next cycle of elections with diligence. With the help of Mass Alliance, she ran for and won the Representative seat in 2008, one of our proudest accomplishments. With the experience from her Representative seat, Clark reran for State Senate in 2010- drawing instrumental support from Mass Alliance. Katherine Clark’s political journey has catapulted her to the Assistant Speaker in the federal House of Representatives, the #4 spot in Democratic House leadership.
