Natalie Higgins’s unexpected capture of the 4th Worcester House seat proved a momentous win for Mass Alliance. Higgins’s family attended Mass Alliance training and would go on to support and run her campaign. Higgins’s primary win by 37 votes allowed the activist to work to ameliorate student debt, help victims of sexual assault, and turn over a legacy of conservatives holding the Leominster seat.
