Aaron Vega

Mass Alliance is proud to have endorsed Aaron Vega in his run for Massachusetts House of Representatives in the 5th district of Hampden. Aaron previously served as City-Councilor in Holyoke, and was elected as one of the first Latino at-large councilors in 2009 where he helped found such efforts as the Citizens for the Revitalization and Urban Success in Holyoke (C.R.U.S.H.), a group that helps to promote local business growth. Aaron has passed several important progressive pieces of legislation in the House, including bills that help increase access and tolerance in public schools, create public service initiatives, and support public safety mandates.
