Julian Cyr’s election helped to maintain the Cape’s tradition of progressive representation, something deeply valuable to the people of the Cape. An LGBTQIA+ rights activist and an environmental and public health champion, Julian has spent his career advocating for policies that create green jobs and safer, healthier communities. This work has continued since Julian was elected to the State Senate, as he is one of the youngest members of Senate leadership and chairs committees dedicated to public health and racial equity, civil rights, and inclusion.
