Mass Alliance congratulates Michael Day on his re-election win for the 31st Middlesex District House Seat, representing the towns of Stoneham and Winchester.
Born in Winchester and now residing in Stoneham, Michael Day earned his law degree from Georgetown University while working a full-time job in Washington, D.C. He understands that the keys to the success of our towns are strong public schools that teach our children the value of hard work and the importance of social justice – not schools that just teach our children to pass tests. Michael worked for nearly ten years as a trial attorney with the firm of Mintz Levin in Boston. He also served as a Special Assistant District Attorney in Middlesex County. In 2012, Michael and his two partners launched their own law firm, Torres, Scammon & Day, LLP. The firm is now Torres, Scammon, Hincks & Day, LLP, and has grown from the three founders to seven professionals. As a small business owner, he knows firsthand the challenges we face in the private sector and has dedicated himself to reigniting our economy and increasing wages for all of us.
Michael Day’s dedication to passing effective, progressive legislation and his commitment to his constituents make him a representative we were proud to endorse.
