Danielle Kempe

Mass Alliance is excited to endorse Danielle Kempe to its Rising Stars program. After more than a decade of working in the nonprofit sector, Kempe has decided to run for Quincy City Council in Ward 1.

Throughout her career, Kempe has been an advocate for a variety of people. She has worked professionally with organizations like The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, The National Multiple Sclerosis Society, RESPOND Inc – Working to End Domestic Violence, and The National Organization for Rare Disorders. She is also on the Board of Directors of Advancing Community inClusion & Equality on the South Shore (ACCESS), a group focused on improving accessibility in Quincy to residents and visitors who face challenges with mobility.

Kempe will focus on the issues that directly impact residents of Quincy. Some of her main concerns regard making Quincy more accessible and affordable for all, improving flood zones, preparing infrastructure to handle ongoing development, increasing access to treatment in the opioid crisis and cleaning up local neighborhoods and parks. She is a fresh voice that will shed light on the issues that Quincy needs to solve.
