Margot Barnet is a lifelong grassroots activist and long time community leader in the 13th Worcester District. She is a critical advocate for funding public education, an articulate advocate for fair tax policy, clean elections, and equal marriage. Her years of activism on behalf of progressive candidates in electoral campaigns, and her pioneering leadership work in support of environmental justice, were prevalent in a hard fought primary campaign. Through the help of Mass Alliance and our allies she ran a strong grassroots campaign that came just 140 shy of winning. Mass Alliance is proud to have supported her. Year endorsed: 2010
