Sarah Hewins is a Democrat running for state representative in the 2nd Plymouth, which includes the towns of Carver, Wareham, and parts of Middleborough. Sarah was raised by a single mother and received a Ph.D. from Princeton University before entering into conservation work. She has lived in Carver for 25 years and has been a Carver selectman for the last 10 years, currently serving her 4th term. Besides her service as a selectman, Sarah has been a member of the Carver/Plymouth/Wareham Task Force, and a commissioner for the Southeast Regional Planning and Economic Development committee. Sarah has spent decades giving back to the community and trying to improve the quality of life. Sarah wants to be a voice for the community and will work tirelessly on Beacon Hill to get the best for her constituents.
