Dan Wolf’s progressive campaign and eventual win of the Cape & Islands Senate seat added a progressive presence to a district that was once considered to be the most conservative. Wolf ran Cape Air, one of the first corporations to be worker-owned and openly pro-LGBTQIA+ rights. His victory helped pave the way for other progressive and Mass Alliance-backed candidates on the Cape like Julian Cyr.
