Khrystian King, a labor leader, and social worker achieved an amazing feat by being the first Black man elected to the Worcester City Council in 100 years. This victory was aided by the support of Mass Alliance and provides a hopeful legacy for other Black politicians seeking to increase representation on city councils and in the statehouse.
