Michelle DuBois is an elected member of the Brockton City Council representing Ward 6 and is currently in her fifth term. She has 14 years of professional experience as a non-profit administrator and fundraiser. She has worked with the New England Shelter for Homeless Veterans, Courageous Sailing Center, YWCA Boston, St. Francis House, and Pine Street Inn. She has worked to stop a gas fired power plant that would increase air pollution and health risks and has worked to stop the expansion of the landfill in East Bridgewater. Mass Alliance would like to congratulate Michelle on her victory as the newly elected 10th Plymouth District representative. Michelle plans to pursue policies that improve quality-of-life for elders, children, people with disabilities and the working families across the district. She supports legislation that strengthens our economy to support job growth. She is an advocate for open and transparent government, environmental policy that protects public health, and protective measures for those most vulnerable among us, and will work to enhance educational opportunities for children, grow protections and services for elders, create solutions for local infrastructure needs, and strengthen public safety resources.
